Boo!

This was our costume inspiration!!!

We had a fun Halloween this year. I had two little boys that just couldn't make up their mind on what costume they wanted to wear... Kaiden started as a warewolf... then he switched to a scary ghost. Kail decided that he was not going to wear a costume... or a jacket.. or a hat.. or shoes... I went ahead and made him a "spooky ghost" so he could dress like his big brother. It worked, and we made it out the door all dressed up!

We made it a lot further this year with trick-or-treating, considering we only made it to 3 or 4 door steps last year. The wagon was a hit with Kail. He got to "pick" the homes he would go up to. Most of the time he sat in the wagon and played with his glow sticks. (He is calling them his "arrows"??!!) Maybe next year we can dress him like Robbin Hood. ;)

Kaiden and Shawn split from the main group and went on a trick-or-treating adventure. They came back with half a pillowcase full of candy! Kaiden was so excited, and exhausted at the same time.

Happy Birthday Kail!

Our little man has turned 2! I can't believe how he has grown this year. We asked Kail what he wanted for his birthday, and he replied, "Candles!"

Birthday morning! Kail gets a new ride! A "Cozy Truck" with a tailgate, sippy cup holder, horn and all.

Grandma and Pop-Pop sent up a wooden train table! This will be hours of fun!

This picture was taken after Kail blew out the candles on his birthday cake. He grabbed them a stuck them in his mouth before I could stop him.

Here is where he figures out that they are not edible... Yuck... I know he swallowed part of it.

Fun at the kiddie table!

Making Cupcakes!

Making a mess! :)

Cake Pops! (first attempt)

Not very easy to transport in the car! We lost a few.

Uncle Bill and Grandpa taking a quick photo op at the party. By the way, Thank You to my Aunt Cyndi for taking pictures for me! She did a fabulous job.

"Birthday Boy" and Daddy

Jeff, Baby Rowan and Meagan came to celebrate!

Grandpa was ready for pizza!

There was a lot going on... but Kail ate the whole piece!

Hayden enjoying some lemonade.

Say "Cheese!"

Kail is now wearing his pizza.

Silly kiddies! They all had a great time!

Make a wish!

Kail wished for MORE CAKE POPS! jk

... and this was NOT even one of the big ones. Go Hayden, Go!

First Day of 4th Grade!!!

Well, my big boy started his first day of 4th grade! I just can't believe it! It feel like the years have flown by way to fast. I can't wait to hear how his day was. He was super excited to be a bike rider for the first time today. Though I think he was a little tired on the trip there.... Kail enjoyed the ride in the bike trailer too.

Independence Day!

 Happy July 4th Everyone!
I thought you would enjoy these sweet pictures of the boys. We had a fun time running around to see the flags. Aparently Kail will do anything for a granola bar and lemon-lime Gatoraid! He was even saying "SMILE" to the camera... Things got a little crazy when he explored the idea of pulling out as many flags as he could get his little hands on... Kaiden and I put them back in the right places.  :)

Add Kail and his "Bun-Bun"... He must have snuck him out of the bag. (Kail looks like he is singing!)

So sweet!

Brotherly Love... (I swear I did not ask them to hug.. )

"Hurry! Get him before he pulls another flag!"

Here is a video of Kaiden singing the Star Spangled Banner. He is such a sweetheart. He had practiced this song over and over again. (Even snuck out of bed one night to check the lyrics to make sure he had them memorized.)
